John McNaught is currently the Division 2 Shire Councillor with Caboolture Shire Council.  He has held this full-time position as an elected representative for 10 years.  In 2000, he unsuccessfully contested the Mayoral position for Caboolture Shire Council and in hindsight, this was meant to be.

CANCER FUNDRAISER A HUGE SUCCESS

A fantastic time was had by all at the Terrors Turtles Relay for Life Team’s Cancer Research fundraising evening at the Dayboro Show Grounds on February 16.  The Kelly Gang kept the crowd entertainment, as did the Flamenco Dancers.  Dayboro’s own Apex boys worked hard keeping the drinks flowing and Phil Black did a wonderful job as auctioneer.

SUTHERLAND OFFERS ENERGY AND EXPERIENCE

The 51-year-old fitness devotee is chair of the Local Transition Committee, which is charged with overseeing a range of issues associated with merging the Redcliffe, Pine Rivers and Caboolture Shire Councils.
