A new permanent officer has been selected for Dayboro. The appointment is still subject to an appeal process so next month I should be able to confirm details of our new officer.

On Sunday April 22nd, Samford and District Carriage Drivers Inc. held a cone driving competition at the Dayboro Showgrounds. A numbered course consisting of 20 sets of witches’ hats with small balls on top was set up for the carriage drivers to negotiate.
Samford Valley Steiner School is the first school in Queensland to become an approved Student Exchange Organisation (SEO) under new national guidelines. The Department of Education and Training, International Quality Unit who approved the school’s application, congratulated them on their achievement
A chorus of “Happy Birthday Aunty Eunice” was sung by a large number of relatives of Eunice Hope Rose (formerly Williams) on Sunday 29th April 2012 at the Dayboro Show Grounds. The Rose and Williams families came together on the day to celebrate the long life of a very gracious lady.
The Dayboro Grapevine’s Coordinator, Doreen Spillman, now joins the ranks of proud grandmas everywhere, following the birth of Calais Elena Spillman on Saturday 12th May.
