Between 30th September and 1st October burglary offences occurred at residences on Ray Booker Court at Kobble Creek and Armstrong Creek Road, Armstrong Creek.

In both cases entry was forced to a rear door and jewellery and money were stolen.  The offenders have also gone through paperwork kept in the office and bedrooms.  These offences are very similar to those which occurred on 15th September and were reported on in the previous Grapevine. 
Mid-evening on 21st September the owners arrived home and disturbed persons who had broken into their home on Kriesch Road, Samsonvale.  The offenders had attended the address in a car stolen from an earlier burglary at Caboolture.  The vehicle was left behind and they ran into nearby bushland.  Despite the assistance of the police dog squad, they were not located.  Jewellery was the main target and some of the items were dropped by the offenders.
We are quite fortunate in our area that the rate of burglary offences is not high but this is little consolation for the victims.  The increase over the last two months highlights the need to review home security and identification of property.  Please also take the time to keep an eye out for your neighbours and to report suspicious vehicles and persons.
