It has been a very busy year for the Dayboro Rascals Playgroup and my first as President. I would like to thank everyone on the Committee who has helped make our playgroup such a great community group. Mary, Mandi, Nikki, Kristy and Megan, you really do give above and beyond which is not easy with kids, work and life in general – your time and effort is much appreciated.
Special thanks have to go to our Fundraiser Nikki Rayner. Nikki made our first Halloween fundraiser a huge success and raised over $600 which we will be putting towards a new storage system for our indoors toys. We’d also like to pass on a big thank you to everyone who donated prizes and their time to raise these funds. Thank you to: The Dayboro Pool, For Goodness Cake, Bungalow Living, Dayboro Butcher, Dayboro Bakery, Terah’s Restaurant, The Bowls Club, Steph Sinclair, Chipmunks, Ocean View Winery and Massage Connection. Thank you too to the Dayboro Grapevine for the publicity and the Lions for all your support.
Please mark your calendar for the Sunday before Halloween again next year!
We will be breaking up for the summer holidays soon and meeting at the pool from the beginning of December. Our Christmas party will be held on December 18th. If you would like to join us over the school holidays we meet informally during the seasonal break at the Dayboro pool on Monday and Wednesday mornings. We will be back at the regular playgroup spot from the last week in January after Australia Day and the school holidays.
