Between 22nd February and 5th March there were four break and enters and one attempted entry to business premises in the Dayboro town area.  Entry was by smashing windows and forcing doors and the main target appears to have been cash.

Ken and Linda Dagley, who ran Welcome Horse Riding School on Foggs Farm for some years, have at last had their longed for baby, a lovely daughter called Suzanna Rose.  Ken and Linda celebrated the naming ceremony with friends and family at their home at Lergessner Road Samford on March 11th.

Mar2012_No Interest Loans Scheme Expands

The Pine Rivers Neighbourhood Centre has expanded their No Interest Loan Scheme to accommodate the rapidly growing number of low income earners needing essential household items.
Over 50 loans have been given out in the past year totalling over $40 000.  Essential household items that have been obtained include fridges, washing machines, car repairs, computers and medical expenses.
But NILS is not purely about giving out loans.  The loans process requires clients to formulate a comprehensive budget in order to be more financially literate.
