AUG2013_Pine Rivers VIEW Club

VIEW stands for Voice, Interests and Education of Women.
Pine Rivers VIEW recently celebrated Christmas in July with a luncheon meeting at Murrumba Downs Tavern.  The room was very festive with red, green and gold decorations.  Talented members provided entertainment with singing, reciting poetry, funny jokes and a Christmas trivia quiz.

AUG2013_SAMFORD MUSEUM NEWS

Samford Show.
Once again we enjoyed a wonderful time in operating our stall at the annual Show, selling lots of cooking, preserves, dvd’s  and books on Samford history as well as a 15 prize raffle.  Our volunteers really relished meeting the crowd of people on both days. It was truly a great local Show and an experience in which we not only love participating but also raise funds so necessary to pay for running our Museum.
