STOP PRESS:
Wimbledon Dayboro Style – Rescheduled to Saturday 24th August 2013. Register teams at Ray White Dayboro. (Rescheduled due to clash with High Tea event.) Teams from community groups, local business and the general public compete in a round robin style tennis competition. Live music, Jumping castle, raffles, bar and food will be running throughout the day as well as kids and family fun on the courts.
Festivalley: At Samford Steiner School.
31 August. Fair 11am – 4pm. Finale 4.30 – 5.30pm
Notice from Moreton Bay Regional Council re our Ekka Public Holiday
Monday August 12 is a public holiday in the Moreton Bay Region for the Ekka at the RNA Showgrounds.
Although Moreton Bay Regional Council’s customer service centres and libraries will be closed for the holiday Monday, kerbside waste collections will continue as normal.
The Ekka People’s Day public holiday for residents of the Brisbane local government area is on Wednesday August 14 – a normal business day in the Moreton Bay Region.
