Runing from August 22 – September 22
Free Spirits is an exhibition by the artists of the Pine Rivers University of the Third Age (U3A).
For the past twelve years Lillian Tebesceff has been teaching art under the banner of "Tintart Art Academy" for the U3A. In this exhibition the group explores a wide range of mediums including acrylics, oils, watercolours, pastels, charcoal and ink.
The group will present a special display of masks, and two mask making workshops to complement the exhibition.
The Matchbox Show consists of hundreds of ceramic art pieces in matchboxes made by people from all over Australia that are now touring galleries throughout Australia.
Through workshops held in the lead-up to or during most exhibitions, participants will develop their skills and understanding of ceramics and the processes involved while making a matchbox artwork to contribute to the collection.
