POLICE NEWS Feb 2008

Over the December/January period there has been an increase in traffic accidents in the area, mainly due to the wet weather.  Fortunately there have been no serious injuries but it is a timely reminder to take extra care on the wet roads.

With the return of school, the 40km/hr speed limits will once again apply around school areas.  Please also take note of the parking restrictions.

During December a number of properties were searched in the Dayboro area and drugs, including a considerable quantity of cannabis plants, were seized.  Several persons were charged with drug related offences.

Two minor stealing matters and a graffiti offence were also reported during December.  Please contact Dayboro Police Station 34251200 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 with information in relation to these or any other offences.
