LOCAL ACTOR TAKES ON NEW CHALLENGE
Between July 18th and August 2nd, on Friday and Saturday nights, you can see local Dayboro actor Michael Forman perform at the Sandgate Town Hall in Sandgate Theatre‟s production of The Outback Debutante Ball. Michael has played both acting and singing roles in productions around Brisbane‟s North for the last couple of years. This time he has taken on a particularly challenging role and is adding dance to his repertoire.
Capably directed by Jean Bowra, this play, by renowned Aussie playwright Judith Prior, promises to be a great night out. It tells the story of an outback committee striving to save their beloved town hall by staging a Debutante Ball. Jean has translated this funny story to the environs of the Sandgate Area.
