June2015_Local showjumper to compete in Singapore
A 20 year old locally trained rider, Andi Santos, has been selected to compete in the upcoming South East Asian Games to be held in Singapore in early June. Andi will compete for the Philippines on her horse “Kalandro”, who will fly out on the 31st of May.
Andi has been training 4 to 5 times per week at Warrego Warmblood Stud in Laceys Creek where “Kalandro” is agisted. Andi has been under the careful instruction of Robert Goodwin, who will fly over with Andi as the coach.
“Andi has been working very hard to get to know a new horse and we’re both really looking forward to the trip”
“Kalandro” is a 10 year old Warmblood stallion that Andi’s family has only owned since the end of 2014, but they have established a great bond together” said Robert.
