Teaching Art has been a lifetime commitment for Artist of the Month Lillian E Tebesceff. Originally a high school teacher then lecturer, Lillian has been involved in the Arts, both professionally and as a hobby, throughout her life. Currently she teaches on behalf of Pine Rivers U3A and her Academy "Tintart", which recently exhibited to great reviews at Redcliffe Community Gallery.
She studied art in both Europe and Australia, and says that her art is an extension of her self expression, that it comes in many moods, and these are reflected in her works. Winner of the Australia Day Pine Rivers Shire Cultural Award in 2008, and many Art Awards, Lillian is an active member of several local and interstate Art Groups, Galleries and Committees. Her work will be featured at Dayboro Art Gallery throughout December.
The Gallery is open 7 days each week, 10am to 3pm. There is also a sale on at the moment at the Gallery, prompted by the expectation that the gallery will shortly close, temporarily, for repairs. Support Lillian and perhaps find an art bargain, just by visiting your local Art Gallery, and in about the same amount of time it takes you to drink your morning coffee.
