Dec12_Rendezvous Assists Wishing for Wildlife
It is that time of year again and Rendezvous is continuing the tradition of ‘Wishing for Wildlife’. We will have our native Christmas tree and encourage people to come and hang their wishes and make a small donation to the wildlife carers who do such an amazing job in an increasingly difficult environment.
Rendezvous was very excited to celebrate their fifth anniversary on the 24th of November. It has been quite a journey. I sometimes wonder if I knew then, what I know now would I have even embarked on the venture. Even now I am still not quite sure of the answer. Tough moments have been experienced but the good far outweighs the bad. I have met so many lovely people. A great big thank-you to all my staff, past and present. They have become my friends and I love each and every one of them. Thank-you to my partner, David, who convinced me to follow my dream, I do not think either of us had any idea how much our lives would change ( I may drink a little bit more than I used to) but especially to the people of Dayboro who have supported Rendezvous and I hope we have also brought something to the town. I have been very happy here and think Dayboro is a very special place.
We look forward to seeing you and wish everybody a wonderful Christmas.
Deb.
