Cara Richardson married Vincent Mancarella of Glenroy, Melbourne on 29th November at Scott’s Presbyterian Church, Collins St., Melbourne. This was followed by a reception at Albert Park on the lake.

Dayboro poet, Russell Plunkett, has penned an emotive poem in the wake of the terrible bushfires that resulted in the loss of so many lives in Victoria during February 2009 – the most notable incidents occurring on February 9 – “Black Saturday”.
