BUSINESS EXPO AND FAMILY FUN DAY 15 June at 10.00am
The 15th June at 10am is a date for your calendar.
It marks the annual Samford Valley Business Network (SVBN) Business Expo and Family Fun Day.
Free live music from 1pm, children’s activities all day and free seminars on the 1/2 hour from 11am.

What a day we had for the rodeo!

There were plenty of thrills and spills at the Dayboro Rodeo in 2008.
Man is not always the winner in these events, as contentants test their skills using only their legs and one hand to hold on for the required 8 seconds.

Growing up in the great depression with 14 siblings I suppose his family had to do whatever they could to save money. His father grew as much of their own food as possible and I think the habit stuck. He still had it going until he passed away a couple of years ago. I can remember as a kid raiding his vege patch-eating corn, beans, peas straight off the plants. Mum never had such success in getting us to eat our veges.
