When it comes to identifying up and coming talent, the Raw Dance Company has it down pat… or should that be Jack.
The company, which will be leading the dance sessions at this year’s SHAFT (Super Holiday Activities for Teenagers) program, has for the past three years employed Brisbane dancer Jack Chambers – the national winner of Channel 10’s “So You Think You Can Dance” competition.
Apart from teaching dance at SHAFT, Jack got to show his skills locally last year as an instructor at council’s “Get Your Groove On” component of the 2007 Amp’d Up Event and for high school students.
Although Jack will be unable to take part in this year’s SHAFT dance program, the Raw Dance Company will again provide a high quality instructor to encourage and excite young dancers.
The SHAFT program features a range of holiday activities aimed at high school students including Cheerleading, Mountain Biking, Break Dancing, Go-Karting and Skirmish.  This fun program runs from Monday, June 30 to Friday, July 11.
