Artist of the Month throughout July at Dayboro Community Gallery is one of our newest members, Jacqui Cousins.  Jacqui describes herself as a developing and emerging Brisbane artist, happiest when focusing on creating visually pleasing and interesting pieces of art, with a particular interest in using mixed media.  Her aim is to bring pleasure to both viewer and artist.

Property Offences
Between 5th and 9th June entry was gained to a number of classrooms at the Dayboro State School.  There was damage caused, including graffiti.  
On 17th May a mobile phone was stolen from a vehicle parked in Jagera Court, Mount Samson.

A homeless chicken that was washed away from its family in the 2011 floods has made Queensland medical history recently.  Found after the floods by local chicken enthusiasts, Truffle made her home in Dayboro and quickly settled into their welcoming flock.
