It’s been a quiet month at playgroup as we often take a break over the school holidays when many of our families go away, or are just too busy looking after their school aged children, to attend playgroup. 
We are back at it now though, meeting every Monday and Wednesday morning with lots of games and craft for the little ones.

Aug2015_Dayboro Pony Club News

Dayboro Pony Club recently hosted almost 70 riders and their families at the Dayboro Showgrounds for Zone Camp, on 20 and 21 June.  Thanks to some dedicated volunteers from the Dayboro Trail Riders Club, many of these riders had their first ever trail ride, as well as trying all kinds of equestrian disciplines including dressage, show jumping, hoofball, mechanical cow, sporting, and obstacle course.

Locals will tell you that a sighting of a wild pig can be a pretty common occurrence around here, but what about a pig coming into your backyard and attacking your pets?  That’s exactly what one local family witnessed in July when their gentle giant Bull Arab dog, Stella, was set upon by a wild boar early in the morning.
