I would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thankyou to everyone who supported this year’s Dayboro Show.

Feedback has been very positive and an early indication is looking that our attendance numbers are up on last year’s show – which is fantastic as the weather was ok but could have been better.

 

The success of the show must go to the many volunteers who help out in a lot of ways which include setting up pavilions, collecting rubbish, collection of the wood chop blocks and setting up the woodchop arena and off course the many who work in the kitchen as well as many other jobs across the weekend.  Without the help of these volunteers we would not be able to put on a show each year for our community.  The show allows locals to showcase their various skills such as fruit and vegs, home brewing, cookery, arts and crafts and needlework to name just a few.

Equally important is the help and support of the sponsors to the show society, as the cost to run an annual show is quite substantial. We try to provide an array of entertainment for all ages.

We are also looking to the Dayboro community to see if there is anyone that would like to help out in some capacity with the show society as we would welcome new ideas.  So if you would like to join the show society please feel to come along to one of the meetings or contact me on either
