– What is the solution?
As a community issue, we need to do something about vandalism around the village. In our printed and digital download editions is a photo of graffiti which covered the Tennis clubhouse, park and skate park.
This is just one incident but caused quite a reaction by the community. Other areas including the mobile library power point next to the skate park experienced vandalism, as well as broken glass found around the paths.
We have often had Police called for public nuisance around the area, usually alcohol related and destructive behaviour.
Should we adopt the “It takes a village to raise a child!” philosophy?
