Help us build a fort for our Dayboro Rascals
We are so lucky in Dayboro to have a fantastic venue for our playgroup in the ECU building on Williams Street. The backyard of this lovely old house provides us with grass and shade and lots of room for our little rascals to run around. Our sandpit, collection of bikes and scooters and play equipment are all well loved and used by the kids.
Unfortunately the wooden fort, which has been a long standing fixture in the corner of the garden had to be removed earlier this year. Although we were sad to see it go we are busy planning a new fort structure that will be simply amazing.
To help raise much needed funds towards our new fort we are selling raffle tickets and giving away a family Gold Coast theme park holiday. The prize includes 3 nights at Sea World Resort for 2 adults and 2 children, entry to Sea World, Movie World and Wet & Wild as well as $200 spending money.
Tickets are only $2 a pop so if you see one of our hardworking mums, dads or grandparents selling tickets around town please show your support and get in the draw to win.
We love to welcome new Mums / Dads / Grandparents to our playgroup. We meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9.30am behind the ECU Building in Williams Street. If it is raining still come along, as we have lots of indoor toys and dress ups (we will be inside the council building).
