Open Day – Meet our Tutors:
The University of The Third Age ( U3A ) Pine Rivers is holding its annual open day on Friday the 16th of January ’09 at 10.00am Bray Hall at Petrie. This year we have embarked on a truly open style house where you are free to roam and ask any questions.
You are most welcome to come in and have a cuppa and look at our interesting courses and activities with our Tutors, by way of discussion with our people. It is a casual format where you look, ask, and discuss. Our tutors are all volunteers who give their time freely so our creed of "Learning for Leisure and Pleasure" can be turned into a fun time for all. Ask about our bus trips in air conditioned coaches and other external activities.
Morning tea and bickies will be provided at no cost and membership applications can be made and renewed. Come and meet your friends and make life enjoyable with the U3A – Pine Rivers .

BOOK NOW FOR OUR 2009 COMPUTER COURSES
The U3A Pine Rivers Computer Section is now taking bookings for Vista (a three weeks introduction) with Office Professional Plus 2007 and XP Office 2003 with Broadband and Word 2007 courses for the new year .
Our computers have been upgraded by the purchase of nine additional new ones and monitors. We are also taking bookings for most of the XP courses including the traditional beginners etc. Please contact us on the below number for your ’09 courses. Remember our classes are run by volunteers who mix fun , patience and knowledge so all can not only learn but have a enjoyable time in one of our venues .
