Jun2013_ A LIONS TALE

Whilst the Lions had a busy month of May, June will be a quiet time for all Lions to regroup and prepare for new challenges ahead.  Some Club members will be away on a much earned rest whilst others will be returning from holidays with renewed vigour.

Dayboro Rodeo
This was a fantastic event enjoyed by our Community and many others.  The day was overcast and the rain held off allowing everyone to enjoy a very sociable day out.  Lions members organised the car parking and a big thank you goes to all those who helped on the day -you did an excellent job.
Movies
Unfortunately there will be no movie in June as our projectionist, Ross, is unavailable due to health issues.  We wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.  Watch out for news of future movie nights in the Grapevine.
June Dinner Meeting
The dinner meeting in June will be our Changeover Meeting and is scheduled for Saturday 22nd.
Posts will be assigned to our newly elected officers for the year ahead.  Please come along and meet our members and enjoy a meal on what is always a very sociable evening.  The meeting will be held in the Uniting Church Hall, Williams Street, Dayboro at 6:45pm for a prompt start at 7:00pm.  Please contact Teresa by 18th June on 3425 1491 if you would like to order a meal.  Price will be $20/person for a meal and a desert (please advise any dietary requirements to Teresa).
