Handicraft Classes are held on 1st and 4th Friday of the month in the CWA Hall from 9.30 a.m.  Cost $3.  Everyone Welcome.

Branch International Day held at Samford QCWA 2 September proved to be a very entertaining day with lots of information on Mongolia, and two very interesting speakers.

State Conference 28 – 31 October in City Hall, Brisbane.

Donation monies from the recent raffle held in aid of the Rural Fire Brigade have been distributed.  $100 to Dayboro & District; $200 to Ocean View and $100 to Samsonvale.  $105 has also been donated to a young scout, (12-16 years) with disabilities, to attend a camp. $50 was donated to Dayboro’s Bradley Ihm to attend the Australian School Cross Country Championships in Melbourne.  Congratulations to Bradley who came home with a bronze medal in the individual (16-19 years) cross country, and a gold medal in the mixed relay (12-19 years; 2 males, 2 females).

Senior’s Morning Tea – Tuesday, 18 November keep this date free in your diary.  There will be a guest speaker from the Department of Ageing.  Everyone who comes has a great time.
