His goal is to live independently like all young adults.
Wil lives on 12 acres, in a fully renovated, wheelchair accessible barn with his horse, donkeys, chooks and dogs.  He has a vegetable garden and is setting up a nursery.
Wil’s interests include music, animals, cooking and watching his favourite DVDs.  Wil has a fantastic sense of humour and many stories to tell.

The Future of ABC in Dayboro

Just over 12 months ago the ABC Learning Centre at Dayboro opened its doors.
Now the future appears unclear – Not because of anything that has happened here at Dayboro, but because of the financial situation with the ABC Learning Centre business nationwide.
As at the time of going to print, the liquidators had not indicated as to whether or not the Dayboro centre would continue trading under the ABC banner in 2009.

DAYBORO POOL 25th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS – SATURDAY 15TH NOVEMBER

WHY NOT COME ALONG TO THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OPEN DAY AND TALK TO THE FRIENDLY STAFF.

They will be holding trial classes in the gym, prize giveaways for best dressed aquatic characters, a treasure hunt for toddlers and fun on the inflatable slide for the older kids.
There will also be a free sausage sizzle to enjoy. 
An added bonus, as part of the celebrations, is the opportunity to participate in any of the centre’s group classes for half price in the first week of November.

BIOSPHERE MEETING REPORT 4th October 2008 at Mt Mee Hall

The D’Aguilar Biosphere meeting’s guest speaker, Dominic Hyde, was involved from the project’s inception as President of MEPA (Mt Glorious Environmental Protection Assoc.).
He explained how it started out as an idea to develop working relationships with agencies and non-Governmental organisations (NGO’s) to address the problem of weed management.  These partnerships provided resources to manage the effects of these agencies and NGO’s work i.e. where soil disturbances lead to a proliferation of weeds.
