Firstly, THANK YOU to all those people who rang to let me know that they too were experiencing dingo/wild dog problems. Some of the reports I heard gave me goose bumps – an old family pet attacked whilst slowly walking behind their owner (albeit some way behind) and dogs (of reasonable size i.e. not ‘toys’) attacked on their home doorstep!! Giving an insight into the cyclic nature of this problem is an article from a professional dogger, Andrew Donaldson – see DINGOES – WILD DOGS.

DINGOES – WILD DOGS
While it may seem like Wild Dogs are on the increase within our shire, there could be a simple reason why we are seeing more of them, waking in the middle of the night to their mournful howls (for those of us lucky enough to live on acreage), or hearing about our neighbours beloved small pets being attacked sometimes even in the middle of the day.
