The Ritz Dayboro is entering its 3rd year in town and under the expert guidance of Head Teachers – Karen Mellers and Rajna Barry – the students achieved extremely high dance exam results from their first exam session held right here in Dayboro at our Community Hall in December 2008.
Honours marks or higher (i.e. 91% and over) were achieved by 75% of students. A fantastic result for their first exams!

Recent rain is likely to bring mosquitoes in coming weeks, and Moreton Bay Regional Council is asking residents to help it keep the number of insects down.
Mayor Allan Sutherland said council had already carried out a number of aerial treatments across the region to reduce the number of mosquitoes and it was now concentrating on carrying out groundwork.

On 7th November a vehicle which had been stolen from the Petrie area was located on Winn Road, Cashmere after being involved in a single vehicle collision.
There have been a number of recent incidents of damage to property in the park area around the Dayboro pool.

In Anchorage we boarded another train which took us to Denali. Denali National Park is nothing like we expected – it becomes a treeless tundra right before your eyes. We were lucky enough to get a good view of Mt McKinlay, the tallest mountain in the USA.
