Early bird tickets for the Saturday, May 2, Main Concert at Caboolture Showgrounds went on sale from December 1 to the end of January and are priced at $54.90 for adults and $26.90 for children aged 8 to 15.
In 2009, the Main Concert line up will feature Kernaghan, who is 2008’s Australian of the Year, True Blue veteran Williamson and Harvey, whose CD I’m Doin’ Alright, took out Album of the Year at the 2008 Country Music Awards of Australia (CCMA), Sydney-based outfit Jonah’s Road, and Travis Collins. Hopefully, the yet-to-be announced winner of the 2009 Toyota Starmaker award will be part of the nearly nine hours of music at the concert..
The 2009 Urban Country Music Festival, to be held over the May long weekend, will feature more than 500 country music artists on 11 stages throughout Caboolture. There will be free concerts, events, markets, workshops and more.
Main Concert early bird tickets will be available from any Moreton Bay Regional Council customer service centre or from the festival’s website at www.urbancountry.com.au
Standard tickets priced at $64.90 for adults and $29.90 for children, will be available from February 1.
