logo_police.gifDuring daylight hours on 6th June entry was forced to a residence in Rail Close, Dayboro and a considerable quantity of property stolen.  Offenders have been charged by Petrie CIB and a majority of the property recovered.   This offence was solved with the assistance of information provided by members of the local community.

It was the mid-`50s when a young Valerie Linnane from Dayboro caught the eye of a handsome, motorbike-riding farmer from Laceys Creek. After several years attending the local picture shows, dances and hooning around on the said motorbike, John and Valerie married at Nundah in 1959.
