Have you been to look at the North Pine Dam?  The roar of the excess water being let out was a welcome sound after the water restrictions we have endured these past years. 

Now I don’t know about you, but I’m glad that the water restrictions haven’t been totally lifted.  Medium level water restrictions are in force and adopting sensible practices to ensure sufficient supply for the future is very good.  BUT . . . it sure would be nice to have more flexibility with regard to when I can have a family member wash my car:  Now it is 4 – 4.30pm on Tuesday & Saturday for us “Odds” and on the Wednesday & Sunday for the “Evens”.  A tank is an obvious answer – but where to locate it is another problem!  Space, downpipes, other structures!  Too hard!  The car can just stay dirty.  That film of dust stops the glare anyway!
