STAN TAYLOR Celebrates 80 Years
Stan was born on 1st June 1929 in Brisbane. He and his family lived at Closeburn/Cedar Creek, then a few years after his marriage, he bought a dairy farm at Hills Road, Closeburn, now Mount Samson.
Together with Myrtle, they raised 5 children, which in time has led to 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren if we haven’t missed any. Stan was involved with Mt Samson State School P & C and the Samsonvale Hall Committee while the family were growing up, and Samsonvale Rural Fire Brigade and Neighbourhood Watch in recent years.He now lives in a granny-house with eldest daughter Lorraine at Joyner.
Stan celebrated his birthday with immediate and lots of extended family and friends at second daughter Noelene’s residence at Wamuran.
