Nov2010_Mt Mee Carols on the Mountain 2010

Saturday 27th November 2010
The Christmas season is just around the corner.

The Mt Mee community is getting in early with the popular Carols on The Mountain.
The venue again will be the excellent Mt Mee Sports Ground, Thomas Road, (Off Robinson Road) – follow the signs. Patrons are advised to access Thomas Rd from Robinson Rd.
Remember there is NO ADMISSION CHARGE and the evening begins at 5pm with very reasonably priced food, prepared by the Mt Mee School P&C, of burgers, sausage snacks, flavoured milk, soft drinks, tea, plus cakes, fairy floss, popcorn, Icy poles and the famous Mt Mee coffee.  There will be something for most tastes and more than enough treats to make it a memorable night out for the children.
Arrive early for the special entertainment for the children with the popular Peebo and Dagwood Clowns  who will arrive in their famous clown car to entertain the children while the rest enjoy the food. It will be a show to remember for the children. Then at 6.30pm everyone will settle down for the main program.
Come and enjoy:
Carol singing – led by the choir and backed by the usual group with guitars, keyboard and drums,
Items presented by pupils of the Mt Mee School,
Another special presentation by “The Yobbos!” and
An up to date drama interwoven with the timeless  nativity play by the Mountain Top Community Church.
The evening will be all over around eightish so the “littlies” are not too late for bed. As usual we have invited Santa Claus to make a special appearance at our Carols.
Don’t forget to bring your chairs and/or rugs – (this is an outdoor event and it gets cool sometimes on the mountain) and there’s plenty of on-site car parking.

You’ll be SORRY if you MISS IT!
