DAYBORO BOWLS CLUB NEWS March09
Our February Financial Day was generously sponsored by Pam and Wayne Mathers from the Dayboro and Petrie Pharmacies. We appreciate their support each year and welcomed Wayne, who attended for lunch to present the prizes. It was a very hot day but the visitors still came and helped make this a fun day. The raffle was won by Joan Dale, Everton Park and the 2nd prize went to our own Colin French. Fruit trays went to Rita, Redcliffe and Lorraine, Kallangur. Spiders (closest to ditch) went to Beryl, Scarborough and Dorothy, Pine Rivers. The winner was Alice Blackman, Pine Rivers team and the runner-up Lorraine Petroff, Samfords team. Ladies day is every Wednesday, men are also welcome. 9 a.m. m/tea and play 9.30 a.m. We can provide bowls just wear flat shoes.
