DAYBORO TRAILRIDERS March09

The January club ride saw a great turn up of 31 riders head out and enjoy a trek around Dayboro via Butler’s; Strong Road; Seymour’s; Strong Road again, under the Rush Creek bridge; Bradley’s; Pioneer; Small’s and back to the showgrounds for another of Lorraine’s fine lunches.  The club’s AGM was held on 12th Feb.

Elections resulted in Selwyn Barr – President; Arthur Kent – Vice President; Kayleen Giles – Secretary; Christie Hopp – Treasurer & the formation of a sub-committee.  Congratulations to all and a standing ovation to Bob Ebert who put in 110% as President over 10 very successful years.  On behalf of all club members past and present, thank you.  Finally, the club hosted the Australian Trail Horse Riders Association of Qld’s AGM (Feb 14/15) providing meals and two [damp] but enjoyable rides through the valley.  A reminder that we ride the fourth Sunday of each month (except Dec) and welcome all riders.  Happy trails.  For more info please contact Kayleen 3425 1650 or myself, Debby Kirkwood 3425 1968.
