Wanted . . . Kids for Raft Race

Here we are with our “Raft” in the Parade at last year’s Dayboro Day Festival.  We had great fun getting it prepared for the race – and fun competing on the day!  In case you haven’t seen our race, it doesn’t float – it is “foot powered”!!

Millie, Corrie and Gemma would love to have a junior children’s Raft race as well as a senior children’s and the adult’s Raft races.  We already have an adult team and 3 in the senior children’s team – but we want to have a junior children’s team too.  We will take everyone who wants to be part of the fun as we get ready for the Raft Race to be held as part of the Dayboro Day Festival, on Sunday 25th May 2008.

Come along to have tons of fun.  Ohh!  Don’t forget to be prepared for lots of paint in your hair for weeks!!!
