U3A Pine Rivers – Special Meeting
On Friday the 28th of March we are holding our AGM, coupled with our 15th Year Anniversary lunch at the Pine Rivers Bowls Club. The AGM starts at 10.00am and the luncheon 11.30 to 12.00 noon. Bookings and payment for the lunch prior are a must. The cost being $25pp.
Special guests include Dr. Mary Daly from the Brisbane U3A with local, state, and federal politicians. We are also holding a special play by Dr Jim Lergessner who has written six books; and Mr John Knox of radio fame, both will be in period costume.
It is envisaged the events will go till app 3.00pm. We are also giving out awards for 15 year memberships, with some life memberships.
Come yee all for a fun day either to the AGM or the Lunch or both. The meal will be a sit down table service including tea/coffee etc. The bar will also be open after the AGM is concluded.
