TRASH and TREASURE on Sept 7th
YOU HAVE TO VOTE – BUT WHY NOT SHOP FOR TREASURE AS WELL?
Mount Samson State School’s Chaplaincy Committee is holding their inaugural Trash & Treasure on Election Day 2013, at the Cedar Creek Hall.
There will be a wide range of items, including a slate pool table, furniture, bric-a-brac, tools and much much more! You will also be able to enjoy a sausage sizzle, cold drinks, cake stalls, raffles, coffee and a kid’s activity area.
Proceeds will go to supporting the Mount Samson State School Chaplaincy service.
The Chaplaincy program is a wonderful service where a chaplain is provided to a primary school. Our Chaplain Rosie provides a wide range of support to the students and school community. Helping students find better ways to deal with a variety of issues, she provides a listening ear and caring presence for the students, she is friend of all and also provides support for the staff and parents of Mt Samson. She runs different programs throughout the year to support the school community and does it all with a smile on her face.
We would also love any donations of saleable treasures you may have laying around, items can be dropped off at the school or if you have large donations we can arrange pick up.
So while doing your civic responsibility on polling day, please come down to the Cedar Creek Hall on Mount Samson Road, Closeburn to cast your vote and support the Mount Samson State Schools’ Local Chaplaincy Committee.
Contact the fundraising committee with any questions or to arrange pick up at MtSamsonLCC@mail.com
