Swaggies Christmas 2008

Saturday 20th December 2008
At Roderick Cruice Park
From 5.30 pm

Bring your swag (blanket) and settle back under the stars to enjoy this great family night of fun and friendship.
You may also bring chairs to sit on if that is your preference.

(Roderick Cruice Park is in Williams Street, near the Pool.)
DRESS UP AS A SWAGGIE:

Come along dressed as a Swaggie and you may even win a prize!  This is, of course, optional – but hey, why not ‘dress down’ and join in the fun?
ENTERTAINMENT:
Be at the park from 5.30pm so that the youngsters can enjoy the FREE Giant Jumping Castle before having a BBQ tea.
Finishing time is approximately 8.00pm.
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Frosty the Snow Man will be there.  Santa will make a grand entrance on the Fire Brigade’s vehicle.
Local recording artist, Rob Black, will be singing at Swaggies Christmas again this year, as will many other talented local folk.  Santa’s Helpers will put on a Christmas kids show.
So there is going to be plenty of entertainment for you to sit back and enjoy.
FOOD and DRINK:  Mum can have the night off from cooking as, with assistance from the Dayboro Lions Club, there will be food and drink available for purchase – i.e. sausage sizzle and soft drinks.
Also on sale will be GLO STICKS and GLO BRACELETS.
Swaggies Christmas is brought to you by the Dayboro District Progress Association, with assistance from Dayboro Lions on the day, and thanks to the financial support of Cr Bob Millar.

IN CASE OF RAIN!!
Alternate wet weather venue is Dayboro State School’s Undercover Area.
