SEPTEMBER AT THE DAYBORO COMMUNITY ART GALLERY

lillian_tebesceff.jpgTHE FEATURED ARTIST FOR SEPTEMBER IS LILLIAN TEBESCEFF

The Gallery is very proud to present Lillian, winner of the “2008 Australia Day Pine Rivers Cultural Award” and many other art awards, locally and interstate.  Lillian, Dayboro Art Gallery’s President, is teaching “Art for Pleasure” at King’s Cottage Petrie on behalf of Pine Rivers University of the Third Age and “TINTART Classes” at our Art Gallery.

Originally a High School Teacher and then a Lecturer, Lillian has been involved with art, both professionally and as a hobby, throughout her life.  She has studied art in Europe and Australia and actively belongs to local and interstate Art Groups, Galleries and Committees.

Lillian’s art is an extension of her personality.  In her art work she expresses her feelings.  They come in many moods and are consequently reflected in her art.

Spring is here and all over our lovely valley there is a feeling of renewal.  Everything looks clean, neat and green.  Our sunsets are spectacular and even if you are not an artist there is a desire to be able to catch this beauty and make it permanent.

We artists feel especially creative in spring and our Gallery is full of beautiful paintings expressing this feeling.

Visit our Gallery.  Our friendly artists are there to welcome you every day from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

“COME AND VISIT, COME AND PLAY WITH CLAY, COME AND PLAY WITH PAINT, COME AND TRY YOUR MIND AND HEART WITH ART”
