Rural residents are urged to ensure their property numbering posts are in a prominent position at the property entrance.
A recent training exercise highlighted a number of rural properties missing their ‘yellow posts’. These posts provide easy identification and location of properties to emergency services. For further information please contact Council.
Much to our disappointment we recently had our antennae stolen from the tower, denying us of vital communications. Fortunately for the community, it was discovered quickly and was during a minor incident. If anyone can offer information regarding this theft please contact the local police or one of our brigade members.

…DIDYANO?…
When you go to sleep, your sense of smell also goes to sleep. If there is a fire, toxic fumes may overcome you before you wake up. Have you tested your smoke alarms recently?
Reports indicate that the risk of death in a house fire is reduced by more than half if a properly maintained smoke alarm is installed.
