Sept2011_STRONG BUSINESS NETWORKS

Samford & Districts Chamber of Commerce promotes strong business networks
This month, the Samford Chamber of Commerce committee introduced our Referral Circles initiative.
Those who attended on Wednesday 10 August had the opportunity to break out into smaller groups and find out a lot more about each other’s ideal clients and projects, and how to identify referrals for each other.
“The Samford and Districts Chamber of Commerce encourages and promotes referrals between members, rather than enforcing them.  That’s what makes our Referral Circles initiative different to other referral-based business groups,” said Chamber President, Cat Matson.
“So many times we hear people go ‘over the range’, only to discover afterwards that a business right here in the local district offers the exact product or service they were after!  You’d be surprised just how many small businesses operate locally that you’d never even know were there.  The Chamber provides an opportunity for local business people to discover each other, support each other and find business opportunities for each other.”
If you’re a local business owner in Samford or the surrounding areas, we’d love to see you at our September meeting, where Brisbane’s own Customer Service Queen, Bron McClain will be our guest speaker.  Bron will show us how to wow our customers and clients so we have a steady stream of repeat business and referrals.  You‘ll also discover friendly business people who live and work right here in the local area, and let us discover more about you!
