POLICE NEWS Nov09
Dayboro Rural Watch
Residents are reminded that the next Dayboro Rural Watch meeting is on at 7.30pm on the 12th of November 2009 at the Dayboro Bowls Club.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come along to learn about issues that are affecting our community.
Traffic Crashes
By far the most predominant police occurrence in the last four weeks within the Dayboro Policing Division has been traffic crashes. Eight traffic crashes, some resulting in injuries, have been reported to police in the 4 week review period. These crashes have been caused by various reasons. As we start to get closer to summer, school holidays and Christmas, Dayboro Police are urging all motorists to take care on the roads by respecting the Fatal 4 – Seatbelts, Speeding, Drink Driving and Fatigue. Please drive carefully and to the conditions of the road. (RBT – anytime – anywhere)
Property Offences
Dayboro Police are also encouraging residents to report any suspicious vehicles or persons in your neighbourhood due to two vehicle break-ins on Cedar Creek Road, Cedar Creek and Roderick Street, Dayboro, an attempted break-in on an unoccupied dwelling in Oceanview and the stealing of building supplies on a work site in Millbrook Drive, Dayboro. If you have any information regarding these offences please call Dayboro Police.
Lost Property
If you have lost a bike or some camping equipment over the last 4 weeks please contact Dayboro Police as two found items have been handed in recently.
Remember – “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing” (Edmund Burke)

I would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the Dayboro Community for warmly welcoming my family and I to Dayboro.
