POLICE NEWS Dec09
On behalf of myself and Senior Constable Troy Nowitzki I would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Christmas and New Year. At 1.38am on Wednesday 18th November entry was forced to the Dayboro Pharmacy. Surveillance footage is being utilised to attempt to identify two offenders entering through the front of the store. Attempts were also made on the same night to enter pharmacies at Samford and Warner. Anyone travelling through the town area around that time may be able to assist with information as to a vehicle in the vicinity or even vehicles that they may have passed on the way in.
On 8th November the front number plate was removed from a vehicle in Roderick Street.
On 28th October entry was gained through an unlocked window of a Laceys Creek Road property. Nothing appears to have been stolen.
On 19th October police received a report of entry to an unoccupied residence in McKenzie Street. No property stolen.
On 10th October a mobile phone was stolen from a backpack whilst the owner was playing with friends in the skatepark area.
Any person with information in relation to these or other offences is requested to contact Dayboro Police on 34251200 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
With the school holidays approaching, please remember to take the usual precautions if you are heading away. Please also take care on the roads.
