logo_police.gifSTAFF CHANGE:  Conrad Van Egmond has been promoted to Sergeant, Officer in Charge of Camooweal Station.
Conrad will finish work at Dayboro Station at the end of March and will leave the area later in April.
I would like to thank Conrad for his efforts whilst at Dayboro and wish him and his wife Nina all the best with the transfer.
On 6th March a vehicle stolen from Fortitude Valley was located burnt out on Mount Samson Road, Dayboro and on 10th March a vehicle stolen from Dakabin was found burnt out on Neilson Road, Kurwongbah.On 22nd February a Nissan Navara ute was stolen from Riverview Court, Dayboro.  The vehicle was located at Dakabin Railway Station.
Between 20th and 22nd February entry was gained to the Dayboro Showgrounds building.
There have been a number of reports throughout the area of damaged signage and guide posts pulled from the ground.
In one instance, guide posts had been placed on the roadway, creating a danger to traffic.
Other items such as wheelie bins have been placed on the road late at night, again posing a traffic hazard.

There are a number of items of unclaimed property currently held at Dayboro Police Station, including two push bikes, a mobile phone and a mower.
