For that unbeatable combination of great music, beautiful food and fine wine, Ocean View Estates winery has you covered with fantastic events happening October – December.
A special Jazz and Shiraz dinner from 6.30pm on 31 October will feature 5-piece Brisbane jazz band, Luna, with a two-course dinner for $59 or 3-courses for $72.
For a Melbourne Cup Day to remember you don’t need to head south, just head up the mountain with your suits and fascinators and celebrate race day at Ocean View Estates winery.
Featuring a fashion parade by Bell & Bird Boutique, live music by Brendan Schick, sweeps, the race on big screen and incredible food and wine, celebrations run from 10.45am – 3.30pm Tuesday 4 November. Cost is $90 per person, with transport available from Petrie station and anywhere along the way for an additional $27.
For a night of dinner and live music with Estate favourites, The Redsell Brothers, book in for 22 November. You can order from the menu – 2 courses for $59 or 3 for $72 – starting at 6.30pm.
Ocean View Estates also has a great Christmas event for you, with Golden Guitar winner James Blundell coming back to the Estate on Sunday 7 December, as part of a special Unwind in the Vines music spectacular guaranteed to leave you feeling Festive.
This will be Blundell’s third performance at the winery, and he will join four other bands to create a 4-hour bonanza showcasing a unique blend of country, folk, blues, classical and bluegrass, featuring Australian acts along with one of the world’s finest acoustic groups in the US-based Kruger Brothers.
The trademark Kruger sound combines jazz, classical and bluegrass styles with the incredible musical talents of the band’s three members and their extensive musical upbringings. The winery concert is the last stop on the Kruger Brothers 2014 Australian tour.
The Unwind line-up also includes Brisbane-based band The Company who are widely regarded as Australia’s best folk/bluegrass acoustic talent, Australian contemporary folk/world music artist Alesa Lajana, and Estate favourites The Redsell Brothers.
The Unwind in the Vines outdoor twilight concert will run from 4pm-8pm, with gates opening at 3pm. Tickets are $51.50 for adults and $27.50 for children, with discounts available for groups of ten.
