Until recently, Cross Country Kids Childcare had existed as something akin to an undiscovered and dormant volcano.
Resting in peaceful obscurity on the side of a hill at the foot of the picturesque Mount Samson State School, it seemed to be waiting for precisely the right moment in time to begin to move beyond the steady simmering of its daily provision of happy and safe play and care environments for the children of local families, who were fortunate enough to have stumbled across it.
Like the searing molten lava that bubbles and surges deep within the belly of a volcano, this amazing Childcare Centre could no longer contain the enormous natural force created by the continual laughter, frivolity, fun times and genuinely happy children and families. Its reputation as a centre of excellence, staffed with dedicated and professional Educators, had grown to such a high degree that finally, on 17 August 2013, the entire side of that green grassy hill erupted in a massive explosion of sparkling rainbow colours, tumultuous music and joyous dancing, as happy friends came together to celebrate the inaugural Family Fun Open Day and spread the word that no matter how hard we may have tried, we just couldn’t keep this wonderful secret to ourselves any longer!
So the word is out! Just a short drive from Dayboro, a little way along Winn Road, you’ll discover a Centre of learning and care for babies through to Pre-prep and school-aged children, with an atmosphere of genuine country hospitality unsurpassed in the region.
