ALICE SLEEMAN
– Artist of the Month, November
“From a very early age I knew one day I would give myself time and commitment to take lessons in various art forms.
After my retirement in 2003 I followed my dreams and commenced attending workshops with many professional and experienced teachers in different mediums.
I now paint in oils, acrylic, pastel and some watercolour. I feel most comfortable painting still life, flora and fauna, seascapes and experimenting with mixed media in all forms. Colour and design is my passion but I do love the Impressionists.
I have won numerous awards for my work and sold many of my paintings. I really do enjoy my art.
