DAYBORO CHURCHES’ COMMUNITY CHEST
Some local families are “doing it tough” and in situations like these, as well as other urgent situations that may emerge, the Dayboro Churches Community Chest is providing assistance. It is all done by volunteers from within our community – a community helping itself – with no Government assistance.
You can help! Money is the best gift as the volunteer “Pantry Managers” draw from the Community Chest to top up the food supplies as needed.

Contact Paul Inglis on 3425 3220 for further information.
Donations to the Dayboro Churches Community Chest can be made directly by depositing into the account of that name at the Electricity Credit Union. Depositors should indicate on the deposit slip who is making the donation.
ELECTION TIME!
The Queensland State Government election has been called for Saturday 21st March. As the Close of Nominations occurs when this edition is being printed, i.e. March 3rd, we were only able to bring you information on the 2 candidates who have already indicated their intention to run. (See pages 19 and 23.)
The Electorate of Kurwongbah will be no more and we will now be voting as constituents of the newly formed Electoral District of PINE RIVERS. (How good it that? !! Our Councils were amalgamated but we will remain residents of Pine Rivers . . .)
Anyway . . . See page 3 for details of the Dayboro District Progress Association’s “Meet the Candidates Night” – Tuesday 17th March, 7.30pm at Dayboro Showgrounds.
