The BIG bus will be used again – so to go on the trips we do need 30 or more people on this bus.
We take this opportunity to say that, although we take all reasonable care, we do not take responsibility for accidents or incidents that may occur.
The responsibility lies with each individual who chooses to join us and participate in our trips.
Due to more and more venues requesting pre-payment and not refunding for late or last minute cancellations, Kevin and I have to ask for 10 days pre-payment on all tours. We are sorry to have to do this, but have no option. Please make cheques payable to Sabra Austin.
Thursday 21st August – Pohlman’s Nursery & Emu Heaven
Step from our coach onto the “Pohlman‟s Gum Tree Valley Express” for the guided tour to see “the workings” of this world class nursery. If you have purchased Pohlman‟s punnets of plants in Woolies, Coles, Bunnings or wherever, this is the place those tiny plants started as seeds – earth – empty punnets or pots.
Established in late 1976 by John & Val Pohlman, this wholesale nursery rates among the finest in Australia. With their five sons they are regarded as leaders of innovative nursery technology in Australia. 120 acres, 90 – 150 staff. What a colourful place to visit and enjoy.
After departing Pohlman‟s we head to Marburg where we‟ll enjoy our lunch at the Marburg Hotel before going on to Emu Heaven. Here we will enjoy a tour and learn interesting facts about the emus and Natural Health and Beauty Products that come from the emus. (I‟ve been advised that they do accept credit card payments.)
This will be a very enjoyable day and we‟re hoping you will come along for a great day out.
