Mt Mee will be dancing and feasting to Celtic entertainment on March 28th.  With music by the highly successful group “Celtic Fusion”, professional callers to help the novice through the dancing, a wandering Lone Piper serenading courting couples at their tables, and of course the inevitable haggis – duly piped and toasted, this is going to be a full night – in every sense of that description.
And that’s not all – there are very special guest artists. As the band recovers during the supper break, a group of special guest artists selected from the ranks of Mt Mee School pupils will sing a couple of familiar Scottish/Irish tunes and the Tanya White School of Highland Dancing will give a brief demonstration of traditional Scottish dance.
The doors of the Mt Mee Public Hall and the Hall bar will open at 6.30 pm and the band will play from 7pm until late, with the aforementioned break for supper. Entry is $25.00 inclusive, (except for the bar) with concessions for school students.
Preliminary booking is essential and space is limited – so get up a table now and contact Kay (5498 2104) or Denton (3425 3049).
This is another non-profit community function organized by the Mt Mee Public Hall Inc.
